GE NASM Project

The partnership with GE and the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum (NASM) is designed to inspire lifelong learning through science and technology.

At Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, our intermediate students participate in the NASM Online Explainers Program, which brings unique real world learning experiences to students via interactive video conferencing. Rothenberg is one of five Cincinnati Public Schools to participate in this program.

"It was great because we got to talk to real people who showed us more about science than we usually see. I want to discover fossils and learn more about animals and people, like an archaeologist."
— Jamicah W.

"You get to learn different things that you didn't know ... and, when I go to college, I can raise my hand because I know stuff."
— Naveah W.

"I know that when I go to outer space, I will already know how to live and thrive there."
— Casey W.
